Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea" is a famous Irish actor and writer. She was born on March 16th 1984. Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011 after playing small roles that she acted for Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. After she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear frequently in panel shows. Between 2016 and 2017 she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, and also a part-time participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was born to Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she was awarded the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. Bea is her surname in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she reached the age of thirteen. In 2017, Bea composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and adopted her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer and former professional jockey. Their family was racing and horse-related. Bea was a guide for The Irish National Stud in her young teens. But she was aware, that racing wasn't what she wanted to be in a career and she preferred to perform.
